Arms and illegal religious literature found in Azerbaijani northern regions

During the operations from April 23 till 28 different prohibited religious literatures were confiscated, wanted delinquents were detained, several were held accountable for violation of registration rules.

Gusar police found one AKM submachine, 3 F-1 and RGD-5 hand-grenades, 200 grams of trotyl, more than 300 various cartridges on the side of Baku-Rostov road, 150 machine guns and submachine cartridges on the side of Gusar-Khudat road, one revolver and 340 cartridges in Hazra village, one AKM submachine gun, 2 chargers and 120 cartridges in Suvajal village as a result of operation-investigations.

The shells hidden in Badishgala village of the region were disarmed by interior troops. Region Police Station and Khachmaz Traffic police found hand grenade at the railway station as a result of investigation. Following this, Russian federation's resident Islam Zeynalov was removed for the country for living unregistered in Khacmaz.
