Deported Turks accused of violent assault in border checkpoint

 Gazakh region Prosecutor's Office told APA 10 incident witnesses were interrogated.

The fact is being investigated on Article 126.1(premeditated injury of health).The investigation is underway and no one was arrested.

"The incident in Girmizi Korpu has to do nothing with market," Gazakh region Police Office chief Shukur Mehsiyev told APA.

According to him the reason for incident was not conflict between locals and persons who attempted to privatize the trade stores.

Mehdiyev said the incident occurred between soldiers and unregistered gypsy migrants when the latter attempted to trespass check point. Two soldiers of Border Troops were stabbed and were taken to Gazakh Region Central hospital.

Gazakh region Central hospital's chief doctor Arzu Novruzov told APA three injured soldiers have been admitted to hospital. The doctor said Elmir Zakirov was operated on. According to him, the operated soldier spilled much blood but his life is not in danger. Arzu Novruzov said two other soldiers were released as their wound was not dangerous.
