International competition for the best Independence monument to end Oct 1

The international competition announced for the preparation of Independence monument will end on October 1. Which country will prepare Azerbaijan Independence (Istiglal) monument will be clear after that, the head of Azerbaijan Artists' Union, people's artist Farhad Khalilov told.

The world most popular companies will participate at the competition, APA reports.

"A special significance is paid to the preparation of the project as it is among of one of the largest competitions announced lately. The competition is going on successfully at present. Istiglal monument to be erected in Upland Park will be erected in high-level. Therefore the competition period will be long term," he concluded.
