The international competition announced for the preparation of Independence monument will end on October 1. Which country will prepare Azerbaijan Independence (Istiglal) monument will be clear after that, the head of Azerbaijan Artists' Union, people's artist Farhad Khalilov told.

"A special significance is paid to the preparation of the project as it is among of one of the largest competitions announced lately. The competition is going on successfully at present.
