The editor-in-chief of the newspaper Salim Zahmatdust was accused of leading the protest actions in the city of Meshkin and detained in May last year. After Zahmatdust was released had continued the publication of the newspaper, law enforcement bodies pursued him.

Law enforcement bodies confiscated Zahmatdust's and other correspondent Jalil Haqqi's passports.
