Windstorm hits Azeri regions

Strong winds damaged power supply stations and grids in some region of Azerbaijan at night, Monday. The aftermaths have been partially eliminated in regions of Imishli, Lenkeran and Mingechevir.

Azerenergy press service told the APA that high windstorm damaged power supply posts in Barda and central electricity distribution networks in Terter, Yevlakh, Mingechevir and Aghdash. Repair and emergency brigades have been put on alert in the affected region.

Repair works are ongoing in all regions. Power supply has been restored in most areas.
