Bill on social rehabilitation of prisoners presented to parliament

Labor and Social Protection Ministry and the parliament closely participated in the preparation of the bill.

The experience of European states was used in the preparation of the bill, Penitentiary Service told the APA.

Social workers try to help the prisoners' rehabilitation in the European states. They regularly work with the prisoners and realize their rehabilitation.

Experts consider that the adoption of the law will play an important role in the prisoners' rehabilitation in Azerbaijan's penitenrtiary system.
