European Chess Union president to visit Baku

The president of European Chess Union Boris Kutin will pay a visit to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Chess Federation vice president Mahir Mammedov told APA that the president of the union will participate in the meeting of ACF Executive Committee on Jan 12.

Mahir Mammedov noted that the Committee made an initiative of the meeting to be held in Baku. "We will assume all expenditures. The Committee holds meetings twice a year in different cities. Holding the meeting in Baku is the sign of great respect to Azerbaijani sports," he added.
