The farce in the cassock: Bagrat Galstanyan decided to earn money while in jail

Armenian Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, currently under arrest for attempting to usurp power and plotting a terrorist attack, is not wasting his time. From behind bars, he has filed several lawsuits for the "protection of honor and dignity," demanding millions of drams from those who dared to call a spade a spade.

For instance, Galstanyan is asking MP Vahagn Aleksanyan to pay nearly $23,000 — apparently, that’s how much the archbishop believes his unblemished reputation is worth in the deputy’s eyes. Meanwhile, he’s demanding a symbolic 7,500 drams from the Minister of Health and a couple of other politicians.

Apparently, the amount varies depending on the degree of "desecration" of his saintly image.
