Police officer wounded in a night skirmish

Two Chechen nationals were detained.

As Day.Az reporting, last night at 0330 hrs a skirmish took place in the downtown.

Two Chechen nationals opened a gun-fire on police officers during a routine documents checking procedure. Both of them were trying to escape, but were detained.

Russian-made Makarov pistol, gun mufflers, night vision equipment, balaklava masks were seized from arrested Chechens.

During a skirmish an officer was wounded.
