MNS: "FBI can be involved to revealing murder of Elmar Huseynov if necessary"

The MNS main office told that Shahbaz Khudoglu asked President Ilham Aliyev for inviting FBI experts to the investigating group, APA reports.

The letter of response sent by Talat Mamadov also reads that Azerbaijani criminal-procedural legislation does not reflect creating joint investigating group with foreign law enforcement bodies.

"Defendant Haji Mammadov said in his testimony upon the trial that his gang murdered editor-in-chief of "Monitor" journal Elmar Huseynov by the order of former economic development minister Farhad Aliyev. Investigative actions are being carried out on this," the letter reads.
