Private medical clinics apply to Health Ministry

Following recent inspections at private clinics in Azerbaijan, heads of these healthcare institutions wrote letters to the Health Ministry.

The Ministry press service told the APA director of 'Funda' medical center Abulfat Aliyev in his letter refuted the cases of the center's health servants having "business relations" with their colleagues in other medical institutions for offering different medical cares, especially laboratory services. Two-shift work has been established in 'Funda' medical center to remove the deficiencies there. The reconstruction and renovation works will be completed soon, and the Health Ministry will be applied for authorizing the center to function again.

Director of 'EuroMed' medical center A.Gadimzadeh and head physician E.Mammadbayov in their letters rejected the any conflict between the Ministry and private healthcare institutions.

'Diamed', 'Funda', 'Davud LTD', 'Vital clinic' were banned due to serious deficiencies in their activities. 'EuroMed' ,'BioSis' and 'MedServis' were warned for their deficiencies.
