16 June 2006 [16:40] - TODAY.AZ
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) officers today disarmed the PM-62 antitank mine that Armenians threw into the Khachin River in Husenly village of Azerbaijan's Terter region.

As APA reports, the village local residents notified the region executive power on the mine in the river. The executive power found out that the mine was under the electric lines to the village, which was representing a great danger to the people living around.

ANAMA field-engineers arrived at the site by the appeal of the executive power. The specialists detected the PM-62 antitank mine and found out that Armenians sent it through the water. The mine was disarmed.

Azizov also said ANAMA has disarmed 25 mines and explosives in Terter by appeals.
