As AzerTAg reports, the final event in three styles (men's freestyle and Greco-Roman, and women's freestyle) will be Golden Grand Prix Finale, and bring together wrestlers from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Canada, Germany, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Egypt and Moldova.
According to FILA (International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles) rules, previous 2006 freestyle and Greco-roman Golden Grand Prix events (Ivan Yarygin Memorial International in Krasnoyarsk, Russia; Uzbekistan Cup of Independence in Tashkent, Uzbekistan; Vehbi Emre International in Izmir, Turkey; and Nikola Petrov International in Sofia, Bulgaria) serve as qualifier for the final round.
Although Azerbaijani athletes failed to achieve success in these competitions, they will attend the final round as host country representatives.
