FIFA sends 257 tickets to Azerbaijan

The governing football body FIFA has sent 257 tickets to Azerbaijan to watch the World Cup 2006 which is to start in Germany June 9.

Official of AFFA Marketing Department Ilgar Aliyev told APA that FIFA was to send 290 tickets to our country.

"But we received 257 tickets and all have been sold," Aliyev said. He noted that our ten compatriots will watch the final match. The price of one ticket to the final match is nearly 600 euros.

"10 tickets have been solved to each to the opening and semifinal matches. FIFA will send 20 tickets for AFFA for each match," he said.
