Russian prosecutors order arrest of 4 suspects in Azeri TV producer assault case

"Four suspects have been detained," prosecutors said.

NTV producer Elkhan Mirzoyev, of Azerbaijani origin, was beaten early on Monday in a subway car in central Moscow in an apparently racially motivated incident. Doctors said later in the day that Mirzoyev was at home, and in a satisfactory state of health, RIA Novosti reports.

Mirzoyev said a group of young people had entered the metro car at Park Kultury station, and one of them, a "skinhead", approached him and told him he "must leave Moscow." Another poured beer onto the producer's head, after which the confrontation turned violent.
