Head of WHO office dismissed

According to APA, the term of the contract is over. This term was prolonged several times by the headquarters during Abdullayev's work in this post since 1994.

Sabdulayev noted that WHO European Regional Bureau in Copenhagen will hold elections to this post.

Now Pavel Ursu, who has been sent from WHO central headquarters, is at the post of Head of the WHO office in Azerbaijan.

Abdullayev was also director of the Scientific Research Lung Diseases Institute. He was discharged after Ogtay Shiraliyev was appointed Health Minister.
