Omb holds inspection of isolation cell of Central Department for Organized Crime Enforcement

On Wednesday Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman held an inspection of the isolation cell of the Central Department for Organized Crime Enforcement of the Interior Ministry and met with the persons which are under investigation.

Suleymanova also met with 7 residents of Nardaran on 7 February accused of the events taken place in Nardaran on 25 January 2006. The arrested told her that they did not use any violence, or gross treatment infringing human dignity. They did not complained of the maintenance conditions and informed on the necessary opportunities established for praying, as well as provision of necessary food and medicals services, the Ombudsman's Institute told Trend.
