Rerun of municipality elections will be held this autumn

According to APA, the results of voting in 141 municipalities were invalidated in the elections to local authorities conducted on December 17, 2004. The results in 135 municipalities were annulled by the CEC and 6 by the constituencies. A.Sariyev said of the date of the re-elections to local authorities to be specified by the CEC, in conformity with the Election Code.

The re-elections to local authorities were postponed due to the parliamentary elections last year.
