Monitoring doesn't reveal Bird flu in Azerbaijan

The next monitoring on revealing the Bird flu in Azerbaijan was planned for late January.

As Trend reports according to the State Veterinary Service under the Agriculture Ministry, the 9th monitoring was scheduled for 30 January. The monitoring is conducting by the Special Commission, including the experts of the Veterinary Service, Health Ministry, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Azerbaijani Hunter Society.

The Veterinary Service stressed that they were working on the samples, taken during the previous monitoring. "Nevertheless, the initial figures testify that there is no virus in Azerbaijan", the Veterinary Service underlined.

The 8th monitoring was carried out in the regions Aghjabadi, Lankaran and Masalli, as well as the national parks Aghgol and Sarysu.
