Azerbaijan builds express data transmission network that will be ready by 2007

"The AzDATACOM express data transmission network will be ready in Azerbaijan by 2007," announced Ali Abbasov, the Communications and Information Technologies Minister.

Setting of the network is carried out within the program "Initiative of National Electron Governance", implementing jointly by the Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry and UNDP.

It is one of the events envisaged in the action plan of the Ministry for 2005. The winner of the tender announced in this regard has been determined and takes appropriate measures.
