Azerbaijani delegation visits U.S.

An Azerbaijani delegation led by the Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev has held meetings in the U.S. as part of preparations for the International Model Conference of the United Nations Security Council to be held in Baku.

The Azerbaijani delegation has met Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent State Cihan Sultanoglu, Director of the Outreach Division in the United Nations Department of Public Information Maher Nasser, and Assistant of UNDPI Eric Dienes.

They praised Azerbaijan`s achievements on the international sport scene.

They also discussed reforms carried out in the youth field in Azerbaijan.

The international Model UN Security Council conference will be held in Baku in October.

The four-day conference will bring together 45 university students and graduates of 15 states currently serving as members of the UN Security Council including Azerbaijan.
