New highway in Guba to connect seven villages

The construction of the Guba-Kupchal-Kushnet highway have already been started. The road will connect the seven villages with the population of seven thousand people, Regional TV reported Thursday.
 
The construction work will be 2-stage. In the first stage it is planned to enlarge the road, lay the water pipelines, construct the retaining walls and two bridges.
 
5 vehicles were involved in construction, and fifth kilometer of the road is ready for asphalting, head of road-maintenance department No-68 Huseynaga Khalilov told journalists on Thursday.
 
The construction of this highway is very important for local people. Total length of the road is 23 kilometers, width 9 meters and 7 meters of it is going to be asphalted.
 
Guba highway locates in the north of Azerbaijan, 166 km to north from Baku.
