Azerbaijani citizens, arrested in Turkmenistan, pardoned

Four Azerbaijani citizens, who were arrested in Turkmenistan, have been pardoned.

The note of Turkmen Foreign Ministry, sent to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkmenistan, stated that they were all pardoned by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev told Trend.

Agajanov Nizami, Aliyev Kanan, Nagiyev Kamran and Nagiyev Israfil were arrested by Turkmen border guards on board of 'Uran' ship during illegal fishing in the Turkmen waters of the Caspian Sea on Oct. 21.
