Experts prepare report on Iranian ship colliding with base on Caspian Sea

Iranian vessel Parmis, colliding with non operating pier near the Chilov Island in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, has not received serious damages, deputy head of the State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan Ehtiram Rahimov told Trend.

He noted that there were no injured as a result of the accident, which occurred last Friday.

Currently the cause of the accident is investigated, but experts of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) assessed the grounds and found no serious damage.

Now the ship is in Baku, where the specialists of the Administration carry out the inspection and prepare the report.
