Baku to get next batch of London taxi TX4

Baku Taxi, the exclusive owner of London taxis TX4 in Azerbaijan, begins negotiations on purchase of an additional batch of taxi cabs.

BT director Ilgar Gasimov says that purchase of additional batch is one of the priority issues to date.

"We are planning to buy new cars in stages, rather by 200 cars every 3-4 months. The first additional batch will be delivered in January 2013," Gasimov said.

He added that the total number of London taxis in Baku will be increased up to 3,000 from the current 1,000 vehicles.
