Over 110 persons violating Azerbaijani border arrested

 Roughly 112 persons, violating the border of Azerbaijan were detained last month.

The press service of State Border Service told APA that 68 Azerbaijanis, 11 Afghans, 10 Uzbeks, 7 Iranians, 7 Nigerians, 3 Moldavians, 2 Turkish, 2 Israelis, 1 Russian and 1 Chinese were among the detained persons. Besides it, relevant measures were taken against 13 people violated the rules of border regime in 7 cases and against 31 persons violated the rules of coast border of the Caspian Sea in 12 cases.

The reports says that 202 persons were identified and handed over to relevant organizations by the employees of republic’s law-enforcement bodies of SBS last month. The transportation of 20 kg and 165,3 g of narcotic drugs over state’s border was prevented as a result of measures taken against illegal sale of narcotic drugs.
