Road accidents kills 8 people in Azerbaijan

Eight people were killed as result of traffic accidents in Azerbaijan in a night, the Main State Traffic Police Office reported.

According to information, 8 people died and 8 were injured as result of 10 traffic accidents in Azerbaijan last night.

Fatal traffic accidents occurred in Goranboy, Goychay and Kurdamir regions. 6 people were killed as a result of traffic accidents in Goranboy and Kurdamir and 2 in Goychay region.

Majority of the traffic accidents occurred as a result of overspeed. The Main State Traffic Police Office expresses concern on fatal traffic accidents occurred on the roads of the country and asks the drivers to be careful and not to exceed speed limit.
