Corruption revealed in 'postal banks' system

The Anti Corruption Fight Administration under General Prosecutor of Azerbaijan has started investigation of illegal activities of responsible persons in Gobustan Post Branch of LLC Azerpocht ( national postal operator and " postal banks" system).

General Prosecution Office reports that a criminal case has been initiated on the appeal of  Azerpocht’s Internal Audit Department , which has revealed that community charges for AZN 13.480 collected in Gobustan Post Branch from 1 April to 1 August 2011 were not received on the LLC’s treasury account. The criminal case has been initiated on clause 179.2.3 (fraud) and clause 308.1 (misfeasance in office).
