ANAMA clears 2,143,644 sq. m. from UXOs and mines

The Azerbaijan National Mine Action (ANAMA) has cleared 2, 143,644 sq. meters area of land from Unexploded Ordnances (UXO) and mines in January. ANAMA found 1 tank mines and 186 UXOs. Demining operations involved 484 deminers, 6 mechanical demining machines, 36 mine detection dogs.

To date, ANAMA has cleared 183,615,679 sq.m. of land, destroying 665,201 mines and UXOs.
The Agency has carried demining operations in the regions of Tartar, Agdam, Agstafa, Fizuli, Agjabady, Goranboy, Goygol and Garadag district of Baku.
