Reconnaissance courses started in Baku

The reconnaissance courses have been opened in Azerbaijan this week. The courses which are attached to Azerbaijan Voluntary Military Patriotism Technical Sport Society (VMPTSS) will be held continuously.

The purpose of the courses, which are formed mainly from the teenagers, is to prepare the reconnaissance scouts for the Armed Forces. The certificates will be given to those who will finish the course and it will be considered during their call-up.

VMPTSS Chairman, Major General Novruzali Orujov, who participated in the opening ceremony, was interested with the provision of participants and gave instructions to them. In their turn, the course participants demonstrated their skills.

“The purpose of preparation of the reconnaissance scouts is to help the Armed Forces. In our survey, we saw that the teenagers would like to serve in the army as a reconnaissance scout” Orujov said .

Orujov also underlined that the course participants are mainly the teenagers studying at secondary schools. 20 of 70 teenagers, who applied for the courses, were selected for the first course. There are girls among them.

VMPTSS Chairman noted that the participants will be taught to use the various small arms, as well as the camouflage rules and close fight styles. According to the general, the crossbow arms were bought and brought to the country.
