Plane with delegation accompanying Turkish PM to Somalia escapes crash

A plane with a delegation accompanying the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Somalia escaped a crash while landing at the Mogadishu Airport. Due to still unclear reason, while landing the airliner’s right wing struck the runway, CNN Turk reported. As a result of the accident the plane’s wing damaged.

The ruling Justice and Development Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitas, chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu, chairman of the board of directors of "Dogan Holding" Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag, representatives of the Turkish showbiz Ajda Pekkan, Sertap Erener and journalists were on board.
