Turkey to host International Blind Sport Games

Turkey's southern province of Antalya will host the 4th International Blind Sport Federation (IBSA) World Championships and Games between April 1 and 10.

Around 2,500 athletes from 64 countries are expected to participate in the Games.

The 4th edition of this, IBSA's showcase event, follows on from the successful games held in Madrid (Spain) in 1998, Quebec (Canada) in 2003 and Sao Paulo (Brazil) in 2007.

The 4th IBSA World Championships and Games will be hosted by the Turkish Blind Sports Federation (GESFED) and will be the biggest ever, offering events in the following eight sports:

Athletics, Swimming, Futsal (Football) B1, Futsal (Football) B2/B3, Goalball, Judo, Powerlifting and Chess.
