Iran works on light water nuclear reactor

Iran is building a light water nuclear reactor in the city of Shiraz, head of the Fars province Hossein Sadiq Abedin said, ISNA reported.

Abedin added that the reactor will be installed in the Zarqan city (capital of Zarqan District, in Shiraz County).

This, according to him, will help to boost agricultural research in the Fars province.

Abedin expressed hope that the installation of the reactor will begin in the near future.
