Georgian Health, Labor and Social Welfare Minister Andria Urushadze has received a Turkish delegation today. The meeting aims to discuss improving an agreement on social security cooperation signed in 1998.

An updated memorandum was signed during the meeting. As Urushadze said the document was drawn up taking into account both countries' interests. He said the agreement aims to protect the social rights of citizens.

"It is important every Turkish citizen who visits us to be provided with a reimbursement of his medical expenses by the Turkish side. Tentative agreements already exist," Urushadze said.
