CoE Ago Group to trip to Azerbaijan

Ago Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers will visit Azerbaijan on Nov. 23-26, Information Office of the Council of Europe said.
The aim of the visit is to assess Azerbaijan’s fulfilling commitments to the Council of Europe.

Members of the Ago Group will meet with President Ilham Aliyev, speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov, leadership of Justice Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, Supreme Court, Central Election Commission, leading opposition parties, nongovernmental organizations and media representatives.

The Group members also plan to meet with ambassadors of the Council of Europe member states to Azerbaijan.
