Javier Solana: "EU hopes for normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations and resolution of the Karabakh problem"

"EU hopes for normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations and resolution of the Karabakh problem", said EU senior representative on general and external policy Javier Solana.
According to the Public television of Armenia, Solana noted that Armenia is an important country.

"I hope that its relations with neighbors are improving. I think the relations with Turkey are normalizing. I think something may occur in this sense within the next months.

I hope the frozen conflict of Nagorno Karabakh will also be settled which is important for the whole region and EU", said Solana in Munich.
