Units of Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire withdrawn with three victims and several wounded - UPDATED

Armenian military units, locating in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan, attempted to occupy one of the posts in the direction of the Javakhirli village of Aghdam at about 19:00 on January 26, said spokesman for Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroghlu.

"In order to occupy our position, Armenians moved in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions. From the first minute of their movement they were taken under control.

Azerbaijani servicemen traced each movement of the Armenian soldiers. Letting the enemy close to their positions Azerbaijani servicemen fired on them.

In the result of an hour fight, the enemy, losing three people and having several wounded, was obliged to retreat. One of the bodies remained on the side controlled by the armed forces of Azerbaijan. Armenians managed to drag bodies of other two soldiers, as well as the wounded servicemen on their side. Azerbaijani side reported no casualties", said Sabiroghlu.

According to APA, the body of one soldier was found by our servicemen, as it was near the area, controlled by the Azerbaijani army.

Two other corpses have been on the contact line for some time after which Armenians found them as well.

In turn, according to the press service for the Defense Ministry, they have no such information.

Units of Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire regime. Units of Armenian Armed Forces near Javahirli village and Gulchuluk sovkhoz area of Armenians occupied Aghdam region attacked the opposite positions of Azerbaijan Army at around 5 pm on January 26, ANS TV informed.

The Armenian units attempting to capture the positions of Azerbaijan Army were withdrawn. Initial versions say, the fight lasted two hours. Sounds of fight are heard every now and then.

Bodies of three Armenian servicemen are remaining in the site under control of Azerbaijani side, local residents informed ANS TV. Investigations are ongoing on the fact.
