Mirmahmood Miralioghlu: "It is not correct to introduce any amendments or alterations to the Constitution of Azerbaijan"

"The statements of the deputies of the Yeni Azerbaijan ruling party about holding a referendum and elimination of restrictions for election of one and the same person as a president for more than twice are just suggestions", said chairman of the Classical Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Mirmahmood Miralioghlu.

He said this issue is still being discussed.

"Perhaps, the attitude of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to this issue will be negative and more objective than of the representatives of the ruling party.

Moreover, some two months have passed since the recent elections and it is inexpedient to raise this issue now. I think it is incorrect to introduce any amendments to alterations to the Constitution", noted Miralioghlu.
