Presidential candidate puts off meeting due to a threat to his life

She said despite the mayor's office sanctioned the meeting to be held near the Tebriz cinema, the party decided to put off the action during the session of the Political council, conducted Saturday.

"The reason was that after the TV debates, during which Hafiz Hajiyev criticized separate corrupted officials, he was subjected to pressure. Unknown people called him and threatened. As he considered that his life is endangered, the party decided to put off the meeting", said she.
