Azerbaijan Liberal Democratic Party: "Sites, allocated to us for an office, turned out to be privatized"

21 July 2008 [14:13] - TODAY.AZ
The Khatai district court has declined the appeal of the Liberal Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, said party chairman Fuad Aliyev.
He said the state committee for state property management of Azerbaijan has in fact deceived the Liberal Democratic Party of Azerbaijan by allocating it privatized sites.

"A session of the Khatai district court, presided by judge Bakhram Shukurov was held today. At the previous session, the representatives of the Committee for State Property Emin Abbasov offerred three places under the party office. But it turned out that all these places were privatized long ago and bear no relation to the state committee.

We have visited these sites and the owners of these places were resented with the interference of the committee for state property with their affairs.

Though, deputy chairman of the party Tarlan Hasanov presented proofs of the privatization of the places, Shukurov did not take it into account and declind the claim of the party", noted he.

Fuad Aliuev noted that the party will appeal to the Appellate Court within 10 days after the court passes its decision.

"We want to attain justice at least in the said instance", concluded Fuad Aliyev.
