Vasili Istratov: "Azerbaijanis not to face any problems if they follow Russian law"

"Russian proposal to Azerbaijan on expensive gas supplies is discussed at the level economical structures of both countries. The authorities are aware of the discussions, as well. But there is no need to politicize it," Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov told reporters.

He said that he disagrees with politicians' opinion concerning Azerbaijan-Russian relations will negatively affected by gas supply issue.

Pointing out the problems with migration in Russia, the ambassador said that government's decisions will not affect Azerbijanis.

"Only a few Azerbaijanis have been deported from Russia. Azerbaijani citizens will not face any problems if they abide by all laws and rules in Russia," he added, APA reports.
