CEC composition may be reconsidered

"If Parliament makes decision on formulating the new composition of Central Election Commission, we will consider this issue. But I do not think that it is urgent problem," said the chief of Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov.

Panahov told the APA it was important to have specialists in the commission. "Most of foreign countries try to formulate the commission not on the basis of the party representation. These countries want to formulate the bodies bearing responsibility on the elections independently. Azerbaijan can also apply to this system," he said.

CEC chief also state that the commission discusses the recommendations given by Venice Commission.
