Azeri envoy meets Indonesian official

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev met with Indonesian alumni of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, press service of the Embassy said.

The Ambassador said he believes the Indonesian alumni studied in Baku will contribute to enhancement of the bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Indonesia.

Ibrahim Hajiyev informed the alumni on the democratic reforms conducted in his country.

On the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh, Hajiyev said Armenia occupied twenty percent of Azerbaijan's territory, adding his country wants the dispute to be peacefully solved.

The Azeri diplomat noted 55 Indonesians studied at oil, chemistry and other academies in his country during the Soviet period.

Hajiyev also stressed the importance of reestablishment of the educational relations between the two countries. AzerTAg
