Security Minister meets Undersecretary of the Lithuanian Security Department

Azerbaijan's Minister of National Security, Lieutenant-General Eldar Mahmudov met with Darius Jurgelevicius, Undersecretary of the Lithuanian State Security Department, to discuss prospects of cooperation between the two countries' security authorities, as well as transnational organized crime, terrorism, migration, and other issues of mutual concern.

According to AzerTAg, Eldar Mahmudov informed about the measures taken by Azerbaijan's authorities to tackle security problems, and fight against international terrorism.

Darius Jurgelevicius said Lithuania is keen to enhance relations with Azerbaijan and benefit from the country's experience in fighting terrorism.

The parties also agreed to organize meetings at security experts level.
