Aliyev considers 2004 successful year for Azerbaijan

2004 year was very successful for Azerbaijan in the economic development and particularly, social-economic development of the regions, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told in Gulustan Palace, dedicated to 1-year execution of he State Program on the social-economic development of the regions in 2004-2008 years, Trend reports.
Aliyev announced that, all the tasks by the government were fulfilled; new employment fields were opened infrastructure and the foreign policy. According to the President, 170,000 employment places were opened in 2004.

As the President noted, there will be very serious steps in the economic development of the country in 2005. Particularly, mobilization of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan export pipeline, which will influence the policy and economy of the region. There will be realized infrastructure projects on the construction of the roads and energy stations. For this purpose, 200 billiard manats were allocated from the state budget, which is twice more than 2004, added the President. About 250 billiard manats will be allocated for the 'Agro leasing' Center for the purchase of the agricultural equipments.

Farkhad Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Economic development Minister, heads of the Executive Authorities of the regions and others made a speech in the conference. Then, the persons, playing big role in the realization of the President's decree and social-economic development of the regions were awarded. The conference continued by the work in the sections.
