The death toll from hurricane Sandy has risen to 111 people. At the moment, most of the victims - 48 - are from New York State, the Voice of Russia reported.
American meteorologists, meanwhile, do not rule out the possibility of another hurricane hitting the northeastern coast of the U.S.
Throughout the week winds and rain shall intensify. Snow is also not ruled out.
According to weather forecasts, the new storm will not be as destructive as Sandy, but is bound to generate problems for the rescue effort in Sandy-stricken areas.
