German Brainpool to be official production partner for Eurovision 2012

The Host Broadcaster of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest - the Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company has announced the German company Brainpool GmbH has been chosen to be the Official Production Partner for the upcoming contest in Baku, Azerbaijan next May.

"Our decision to work with Brainpool is based on strong facts, Brainpool demonstrated excellent execution during the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf in 2011," Adil Karimli, the Executive Producer of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest told Eurovision-2012 website today. "We are looking forward to working with the company, as they have the experience and capability to support us in this exciting project."

Brainpool will be a lead partner to provide support in design and show production, as well as technical support on all show related issues. "We are happy Ictimai TV chose an experienced production company for the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Brainpool has a proven track record in the production of state-of-the-art international television productions and valuable Eurovision Song Contest experience," Jon Ola Sand, the Executive Supervisor of the contest on behalf of the European Broadcasting Union, said.
