About 80 Azerbaijanis send applications to participate in Eurovision selection round

About 80 people have already sent applications to participate in the Eurovision national selection round held by Azerbaijan Public Television. It is the organizer and the broadcaster of the contest.

The national selection round began on October 15. The applications for participation in the selection round are being accepted. The process will end on Oct. 25, Azerbaijan Public Television told Trend on Monday.

The selection round will be conducted in accordance with the Eurovision rules. The spectators' opinion will be taken into account, along with the opinion of the members of the jury to ensure transparency and objectivity in the selection rounds.

The contest is open to people older 16, confident in their professionalism and talent. Applicants must be able to dance. They must have a beautiful voice and stage skills. Those wishing to take part in the selection round can apply to the organizing committee of the Public Television at 241, Sharifzade st., Baku until October 25.

Each participant must submit three photos from different angles, a copy of identity card and a special questionnaire.
