Jude Law meets his five-month old daughter for the first time

Meeting his one-time lover Samantha Burke, who is the mother to his five-month-old baby girl Sophia, it was the first time he had seen her for months.

He was joined by celebrity lawyer Maurice Kutner to make sure the single mum didn’t take him for all he had.

A source told The Sun: ‘Jude was very on edge about the meeting. The pregnancy wasn’t planned but he wants to do the right thing.’

Law, who onlookers describe as looking ‘stressed’, had a meeting with the celebrity lawyer for six hours in Miami on Thursday.

The fling pair reportedly entered an office block, followed by their lawyers, and their agreement is now thought to have been settled.

The 37-year-old British actor is also now back together with former love Sienna Miller so this baby meeting is sure to add a strain to the old flames moving forward.

It was whilst Jude filmed scenes for Sherlock Holmes in New York during Christmas 2008 that he met the pretty model.

His daughter was born in October last year and though he did not fly out to greet his newborn, he said he was sure he’d ‘fall in love with her’ when he first saw her.

Jude is yet to comment on his meeting.
